Crazy Travel Summer!

Our summer of traveling quite a bit has begun! We were lucky enough to be able to go to our dear friend's Mike and Angie Gianfransesco's wedding in Naples, FL in April. It was absolutely beautiful and what a blast! Tons of drinking and fun was had by all. Pictures are posted on shutterfly (I'll figure out how to post that link soon).

I'm off to Philadelphia this weekend to cheer on one of my best and oldest friends, Katie (Bowser) Cerminara when she competes in the Philadelphia triathalon - go Katie! I am so very proud of her and so honored to be with her when she participates and completes this amazing athletic event.

The second week in July, Jon and I are going to Las Vegas to celebrate my 30th birthday!!! Even though it is a couple months early. We were planning on doing a dual celebration for my dad's 60th birthday as well, but unfortunately, my parents won't be able to make it (we'll miss you so much Mom & Dad)! But Katie and Rob are going and so are Ty, Addie and the boys - yay! We are staying at the Luxor and plan on laying out at the pool (and cooking our brains out), gambling, going to eat at the yummy buffets and seeing the Tournament of Knights at Excalibur.

In August, we will have our friends Doug & Jenny and their beautiful daughters, Alexia and Olivia visit us here in Chicago. We can't wait to have them and take them to a Cubs game! Jon will be going up to the farm in Wisconsin for his annual boys trip and he will also head to CO for the fantasy football draft. I'm sure lots of drinking will ensue. :)

In September (yes, the traveling continues to the fall), Jon and I are headed up to Galena with his parents for his cousin, Ian's wedding to Lauren. I am excited to visit Galena and to officially welcome Lauren to the family! We tentatively have another trip to Las Vegas planned this month and Maura and Dave would like to have their joint bachelor/bachelorette parties there. We can't wait and we hope many will be able to go!

October keeps us busy! We are so excited to be going to San Diego to be a part of Maura and Dave's wedding! Maura has always been such a wonderful friend to me and I'm thrilled to see her joining her life with such an incredible guy. Congrats you two!

Our final trip of the year will be to Kansas City to celebrate Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family. We can't wait for the annual celebration and man, will there be some dogs there to enjoy in the turkey (8 pooches!).

We will definitely post pictures of all our travels and keep you up to date on anything new from our end.

We hope all of our friends and families are well!

Wow.

Your schedule makes me tired just reading it. I thought having kids was crazy!

I am so glad you started a blog and I look forward to updates as often as you can.

It was great to hear about Maura. Maura, Maura... I haven't heard that name in forever. I am so glad she is doing well and getting married soon.

I'll be back!

Angie
